Joe M. Bocanegra, age 85, passed away July 29, 2018. Joe was born September 10, 1932 in San Antonio, Texas. He went to work at an early age to help support his family. Joe worked for many years as a dairy farmer before moving to the city and becoming a chef until his retirement. He moved to Denver in 2010. Joe was a big sports fan, he knew many baseball stats and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Joe is survived by his wife Connie; children: Sandra (Jeffrey) England, Nancy Bocanegra, Pete Bocanegra, Jesse Bocanegra, David Bocanegra, Ray Bocanegra, Albert Ybarra, Cynthia Ybarra and Robert Ybarra; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Monday, August 6, 2018 at 9:30 am in the Olinger Crown Hill Chapel of Peace.
