On the morning of October 31, 2016, Joe Dan Padia passed away with his children at his side. Joe was predeceased by his son, Joe Padia Jr., his parents, and four siblings. He leaves children: Beatrice Marquez, Felix Padia (Rhonda), Lorraine Pacheco (Rudy), Connie Padia (Tito), grandchildren and great grandchildren, three brothers, and additional family and friends. Born and raised in Redwing, Colorado, the son of Fred and Elbira Padia. He was a lifelong resident of Colorado. Joe was a truck driver and worked on many of Colorado’s major projects such as the Eisenhower Tunnel. Mr. Padia had love for horses and spent many years riding and breaking horses. He had a passion for dancing, driving, and socializing with family and friends. The funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 4, 2016, at 2 p.m. at St. Cajetan’s Catholic Church, 299 S Raleigh Street, Denver CO, and the burial to be held on Saturday, November 3, 2016, at 11 a.m. at North St Mary’s Cemetery in Walsenburg CO.
