Joe L. Poole, 93, proud retiree of the U.S.G.S. after a life spent with Geological Survey, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014.

Joe served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille.

He is survived by his children, Susan, Elizabeth and David; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and his sister, Betty.

Military Funeral Honors will be held at 10:15am, Monday, December 15, 2014, at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
