John and Robert met in 1987 and they were married in 2014, they had many happy years together until his passing a few days ago. John worked at the Colorado Serum Co. as a Lab Technician which he enjoyed.
He is survived by his spouse Robert M. Butterfield, brother Michael Dennis, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nephews. He is also survived by his sister in laws: Chris Dennis, Lynn Fleure, Naomi Dennis, Sylvia Dennis and Sue Barnhart.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Lowell Dennis,brothers David Dennis and Thomas Dennis, his maternal grandparents Ernest and Frances Smith, paternal grandparents Isaac and Hilda Dennis, sister in law Marlene Dennis, brother in law Roy Barnhart, nephew Gary Butterfield and great niece Hailey Bazil Dennis.
Robert would like to extend a special thank you to the hospice staff that were so caring and passionate towards John, and helping Robert with his emotional journey as well.
