John Jamieson passed away January 12, 2025-one day shy of his 90th birthday. He was born in Chicago, IL on January 13, 1935. He received his PhD in philosophy from the University of Kansas in the early 1970’s and lived in Colorado for the last 50 years of his life. He loved to debate and he also enjoyed playing ice hockey well into his 70’s as well as reading German.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy Jamieson and sons Eric Jamieson (Ginger) and Karl Jamieson (Kelly).
Celebration of life ceremony will be held January 27, 2025 at 1:00pm at Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery 7777 W. 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033.
