JB was a man of deep Christian faith and reflected this in the grace with which he treated others. He always took his lifelong role as godfather of his niece and nephew very seriously.
JB was an accomplished man, he earned a Masters Degree in Taxation from the Denver University College of Law and went on to develop a successful CPA practice. He was a talented musician trained on piano, French horn, trumpet, voice, and musical theatre. Travelling, both internationally and domestically, was a passion of his. He enjoyed learning about various cultures through their art, architecture, geography, and history which was fascinating to him. The love of this great nation was expressed in JB’s faith-based political activism.
A few quotes from texts/correspondence received capture his essence: “JB always made manifest a deep faith, which transcended words.” “He was one of a kind who captured our hearts the first time we met him and recaptured them every subsequent time thereafter.” “He was the most gentle soul I have ever known.”
