JohnPaul Sanchez-Villalobos aka JP was a person who had the most contagious, beautiful smile. He left his mark on this world in the short amount of time he was here. He spoke his mind and didn’t care what people thought. He was such a brave, funny, soul. JohnPaul was a person who loved to laugh, play jokes on everyone, especially Grandma Bea. He never took life too seriously.
JohnPaul was born on August 31, 1989; a Colorado Native at Saint Joseph’s hospital in Denver, CO. His parents were Shawn Villalobos and Felicia Sanchez. He had one older sister, Sharmine Sanchez. Growing up the two of them would get into some stuff. As a child JohnPaul played football but he loved skateboarding and he loved making the garage into his personal bedroom to hang out with his buddies. Him and his friends would always hang out at the duplex off Bradburn and would practice skateboard tricks. He even had made a skateboard ramp and I remember a metal balance beam to do tricks off. He even grew out his black hair, he resembled Mowgli off the Jungle Book.
As a little boy, JohnPaul was a very crazy, hyper baby. He broke his foot around 2 years old and even with a cast on it, he never slowed down. You could hear him coming throughout our house because we had hardwood floors. He was a very good artist, he loved to draw. He loved the Joker and even got a tattoo of the Joker smile on arm. He had tons of posters. He loved his 420 and my family believes that’s one of the main reasons he didn’t experience any pain before he found out he had cancer. He loved his Denver Broncos, he had tons of Bronco jerseys and hats. He really enjoyed playing videogames especially football and he would yell at the tv because he was so mad at what was happening in the game.
JohnPaul was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. His Pitt Bull Jayden and Crocket, a mutt. Crockett ended up becoming his mother’s dog. Jayden is the most well-behaved dog and JohnPaul loved her so much.
JohnPaul passed away on March 7, 2019 at his Grandma and Grandpa Villalobos's house. JohnPaul fought a brave, tough battle against cancer. He is survived by his parents, Shawn Villalobos and Felicia Sanchez; his only child AnaLeah Sanchez; his only sibling Sharmine Sanchez and his nephew Mateo and two nieces Nariah ans Persaius and Godson Neiko, his grandparents Augustine and Jennifer Villalobos, his Grandpa John, his Nina Missy, Nina Sheryl, Uncle Ralph, Uncle AJ, Uncle Paul, Auntie Brandie, Auntie Dion and numerous cousins.
