He is survived by his wife, Gloria; children, Joseph “Joey” Garcia, Jeffrey Garcia, Kateri (Vince) Medina, John (Maria) Garcia and Chrysanthe (Nancy) Garcia-Martinez; grandchildren, Karisa, Joseph “Jojo”, Jude, Yvonne, Jack, Anthony, Casandra, Gabriella, Claudia, Qiliana, Zariah & Lucia; great-grandchildren, Syiah and Aaliyah; siblings, Juanita Sandoval, Mary Lou Pobojeski, Lorraine Mondragon; and sisters-in-law, Herminia Sanchez and Esther Sanchez.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, José & Estella Garcia; brother, Juan Pablo Garcia; sister, Estanislada “Lolly” (Gilbert) Reil; brothers-in-law, Robert “Bob” Sandoval, Louis “Lou” Pobojeski, Silverio Sanchez, Paul (Virginia) Sanchez, Wilfred Sanchez & Brian Sanchez.
