Not real close over the past several years because of distance. Last time we saw Leo was a couple years ago on a trip to Denver. But will never forget the friendship and especially those fishing trips. We count Leo as a great friend.

Grandpa Leo - Thank you for being such a big part of our lives and allowing us to be a part of yours. It was a true privilege and honor to know you. You will remain in our hearts forever and we will miss you!
Love - Paul & Micki Rogers & Family

Hey Jose - you may be laid to rest today but I believe you have Aunt Susie holding one hand & your fishing pole in the other. You shared so much with others. Though our visits were limited, the photos & phone calls were always full of love, laughter & good stories. What a great fishing team we made from CO to IL & down to TX, we kicked them boy's butts!
Our heart goes out to all of you back in "Denver Town". Thank you Lord for giving us one of his best.
Luv ya bye - your Niece

Leo, you have been more like a brother to me instead of a brother in law. YOU made my sister so happy! You were always there in the good times as well as the bad times for me and my family. YOU enjoyed life to the fullest, from your Harley, to fishing, mushroom hunting (LOL), hunting in the mountains, work with the wild life group, cooking, and entertaining your friends and family. You never met a stranger, you were always cordial and made everyone feel at home. I will miss our weekend chats. YOU did fight the good race and I hope You and Susie find the peace you deserve! Until we meet again... LOVE you!

My dearest Bud,
I love you with all of my heart! You have fought a good fight. You have won the race and kept the faith. Rest in peace, my Brother. Our deepest sympathy to my three nephews and their families. You are my hero!

These are pictures of the 80th birthday party.

My brother and I shared a special visit in washington state in 2008. He came there just to be with me. I loved being able to spend that special time with him. I will always remember the times I spent with him. I want to remember him just the way he would want me to: with his hip boots on pulling in a salmon on the wynoochee river in montesano WA.

Sandoval Family,
Sending positive thoughts at this difficult time. We love you!

My dearest Bud! I love you with my whole heart. You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Rest in peace. You were and alway will be my hero. My deepest sympathy to my nephews and their families. Always and forever, your sister Stella

Leo,
Knowing you for the last 45 years has been nothing but a Blessing! You were there for us when our father was killed and you always kept in touch with us through the years, and we love you for that! You were not a friend, you were a familiy member who meant the world to us! We will never forget all the camping trips, the get togethers, your famous green chili, and most of all your Love! The memories go on and on . . . they were all filled with Love! You are always in our Hearts! Love Always, the Ward Family!

No words could fully describe how you positively impacted my life. Your relentless giving nature, always a kind word spoken, your wit and wisdom and infinite jokes made so many people happy. The world was a better place during your time here. God broke the mold when he made you. I am forever thankful and fortunate for the time we spent together.
Thank you for being my best friend and Uncle!

I love you...

Manito, When I talked to you on Thursday, you said, "When we talk and I say goodbye, I love you, it may be for the last time. So remember this after I am gone." Goodbye my dearest of brothers, I love you. I would like you all to know our brother is in Heaven because he was saved. We had many conversations about The Lord and he had asked Jesus to come into his heart. Adios mi hermanito. Kat and James

Tom, Jerry, and Joey, we are sorry for the loss of your father. May you find peace during this difficult time. Love, Aunt Caroline and Uncle Evencio

Leo was the greatest neighbor I've ever had. For over seven years he watched over my house and my children. He was always there when I needed him, whether pouring a concrete sidewalk or baby sitting my boys while I ran to the store. I miss the fish he use to give me and the smell of his roasting peppers. He and Sharon always treated my sons as if they were part of their family. Leo continued to invite my boys to the annual Huck Finn Fishing Derby every year even though we moved away. He was truly an awesome man. It make me happy to think he is with Sharon now.
Don, Tracy, Max, and Jude Kerrihard

Grandpa, I hope you knew how much you meant to me. The only comfort Tim and I have is knowing that you and grandma are back together. Thank you for all of the great memories. Weekends will never be the same without you.
Love you Grandpa,
Jen
