A lovely lady, and such wonderful pictures.  Reminds me of the family picnics in Waubonsie State Park MANY years ago.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mom, she was such a sweet woman.  I got to enjoy working around her at the City of Lakewood so many years ago and she was a well respected and well liked lady.  I'm sure you will miss her. We can share more memories at work.

Dan, DeeDee and family, I looked through the pictures and they brought back so many memories of our good times together.  Sorry to hear of Joyce's passing.  She was a wonderful lady.

I regret that I did not spend enough time with you these last few years although I never stopped thinking of you and praying for you. I feel so lucky to have known you and feel loved by you. We may not have been blood related but you were the only grandmother I had these past 6 years or so and I am so thankful for that.

My favorite memory of you is sitting with you at the bowling alley and (with a twinkle in your eye) you told me the story about Tyler and the spider. You told me that there was a spider high up on your wall. Brave, young Tyler said, "It's ok Grandma! I'll get him for you!" while he grabbed a chair to help him reach the spider. Face to face with the creature, he realized how gross and scary it was. Frightened Tyler got down off the chair and said to you, "I'm sorry Grandma, I can't do it!" and ran off. We laughed for hours about this story and I still tease Tyler about it to this day.

I'll miss you and love you forever!

Dear Grandma,
      I miss you so much already, I will always remember your great advice, your beautiful smile, and how much you loved all of us. You were always my biggest fan during my games, and to you I always had a good game no matter how poorly I played. You will be in my thoughts and in my heart forever. Until the day we see each other again rest peacefully. I love you grandma!

Dear Danny, DeeDee, Darren and Boys.  I am very sorry for your loss.  Joyce always had just that smile in the picture you posted everytime I saw her.  I  just realized I have known her for over 17 years.
