She was born on December 10, 1947, in Denver, Colorado. Judy, affectionately called “Gummy,” was a loving and devoted mother to Vicki Foster. Nothing brought her more joy than her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, Brandon A. Souza, Kaitlyn A. Souza, and Bryce AJ Gerbino.
Later in life, Judy reunited with a son (Steve Zadel) and daughter (Erika Rummel) who she had placed for adoption. That reunion was a meaningful chapter in her story and one she held close to her heart.
Gummy, known for her signature purple-highlighted hair and tattoos, truly lived life to the fullest! She embraced every moment with love, laughter, and a healthy sense of sarcasm that those closest to her will never forget. She created treasured memories on family “adventures,” exploring the beautiful areas of Colorado and simply enjoying time together.
Judy will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her deep and unwavering love for her family, and the warmth she brought into every room. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
