

Julie Ann Loftis, age 70, and a long time resident of Broomfield, Colorado peacefully passed away with family by her side, on Sunday, March 19, 2023. She was born on October 23, 1952 in Denver, Colorado, to Margaret Alice (Morren) Raines and Ray Raines.
Julie was a loving sister, wife, daughter, friend and proud Auntie. She was a proud bronco fan & ambulance chaser. The first of four children, her willingness to help others was second to none. Larger than life sense of humor that could fill a room with laughter. She was one to never shy away from hard work she took pride in a strong work ethic working for Storage Tech 20+ Years and Hunter Douglas 20+ years. Her Greatest love was her entire immediate, extended family & her dog Montana (Tana). Truly a loving, wonderful and hard headed woman.
She is survived by her siblings Mike Raines (Tammy), Gale Cook (Ron), Susan Kieckhaefer (Richard), Sally Sheridan. Nieces: Norene Raines, Rachel Kieckhaefer, and Amanda Kieckhaefer. Nephews: Buster Lorenzo (Diane), Pat Lorenzo (Angel), Mike Raines Jr., Mitch Raines (Inessa), Matt Raines (Kristen), Marcus Raines (Chelsea), William Kieckaefer (Sarah), and all great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, mother Margaret Alice (Morren) and father Ray Raines; Grandparents William and Lillian (Fisher) Morren; and her husband, Tony Loftis.
