We miss you Karl!! I can’t believe you have been gone 5 yrs. You will never be forgotten!!

I hope this day brings memories with less pain. Celebrating Karl’s life by keeping him with you always as you journey on with your own. He’d want that I’m sure. Peace.

I’m remembering long ago days on Arbutus Avenue.... Strong memories of good people who were close childhood friends until life and all it holds took them  away for a wonderful life out west. Where did the time go? I can see by what I found posted of Karl’s passing, that it was a beautiful life. I’ll never forget the good byes all those years ago.... and especially to Kris and Kathryn, my sincerest condolences . I remember Karl as just a little boy but I can see he became quite a wonderful man. Kris, Kathryn..... I remember slow summer days, asphalt under our feet, that ol country road we lived on together, how we spent time together Kathryn..... and how I wished I’d spent more with Kris but was very shy...... our lives were just beginning then....and it seems you were blessed with good ones....I remember you all...... and I always will... to all those  Karl left behind and how he touched your lives, I’m so sorry for your loss. 

Karl was a person that I'm sure if I knew on a personal level he would have been one guy to remember. I knew Karl from Skyridge and on to the city. He and I had a great understanding about his generators. I enjoyed working for and with Karl. Karl and I had a lot in common (Navy) and it was always good to just talk to him. He would say to me are you just going to talk or are you going to work and I would tell him he's the one still standing there listening.  I will miss Karl and I will always remember his attention to detail for everything he did. Rest in Peace my friend!!!

I am so sorry to hear about Karl's passing and remember him fondly from working with him at the City of Aurora.   Every time I talked to Karl he was genuine and nice, joking about little things.  

This Easter has brought to mind some very special memories of my dear friend Karl Andersen .
  I'll start off with Karl always believed there was nothing stronger than blood( related). I would always say to him what about me. His reply was ,you are blood and no one will ever say different! Then he would say we just had different mothers. Then he would smile and push me. So anyhow I'll continue with my memory. On Easter when we were in high school we were both members of cowboys for Christ , and there was always a Sunrise Service at the Everett Ranch. Both of us lived several miles from the Everett Ranch so we would have to leave Karl's place no later than 5 a.m. to make it there before sunrise. I had to saddle up and leave my place on my horse ladybug by 4 a.m. in order to get to Karl's place early enough that we would make it there. I remember that he would be so worried about his dear mother doing the chores without him. Because those of you that new Faith ( who he adored) knew that she would not let him milk the cows, and goats early because she did not want to confuse them and get them off schedule. His mom knew how much these rides meant to Karl , so with a little encouragement from her away we would go into the dark . The horses were always a little skittish at first riding them in the dark, but soon they would be moving as though they could see just fine. We were never late and so enjoyed those days together, we would make sure we were home for evening chores. We so enjoyed all the many things we did and adventurers we had together. Fishing, biking, hiking, camping, hunting, riding are horses, but most of all just being together!
  I miss him so much! My brother from another mother! You are always with me dear friend

Karl,
I fondly remember your entire family. I spent many afternoons swimming in your  pond, with you and Kenny!  You are missed by all, my childhood friend!

Karl, words cant explain how much we love an miss you. You were easy to talk to and always have the best advice. I cant wait to see you again, in heaven. Where we can laugh an talk like the old days. 

Karl was a sweetie,  he always helped when I or my brother Alvin needed anything he was there.   I'm so sorry for your loss , he will be missed greatly. 

Karl was amazing we meet when I was married to Kris and always had a special bond. We lost touch after the divorce but reconnected when he started working for the City of Aurora.  It was a wonderful moment when I ran into him one day at work. He told me about Paulette and talked about a special trip they had taken to the Caribbean. He also told me about the kids and what they were up to and how his sister Kathy was doing in Salida. I will miss seeing his face and talking with him   He loved his family so much from Paulette to his sister, the kids and grandchildren please accept my condolences in this difficult time.   Cindy

Karl had a side to him that was so very sweet and gentle. I remember his smile and his laugh, and his affinity for nature and wildlife. Though he was a hunter, I remember when I worked at Sky Ridge with him, there was this old half blind rabbit that lived under the cooling towers. Karl would feed that rabbit everyday, until it disappeared. He had so many of those moments that I will always remember. He loved his wife, he loved his children, he was decent and kind human being. God speed Karl. You will be missed.

Karl Andersen, my husband's true and beloved friend. The one thing I didn't expect but was a beautiful piece of Alvin's life was the friendships of his two amigos he carried. Always there when you needed a hand. Karl chose well when he chose his beautiful wife, Paulette, and God gave him his precious children, family and friends and perhaps his greatest but sweetest burden was thinking that he himself had to take care of not only all of us but the world also. Thank you Bud for ALL that you have done for us. We miss and love you so much.  Lou and Alvin

I have known Karl since I was 7 years old. We would always hang out and drive to the mountains. My brother and him were the beat of friends. They used to pick me up from school and we would have small town fun. Through the 46 years of knowing him, I kept in touch. We grew up around camping, fishing, and hunting. Mostly the country life. He always inspired me to be better and always had a kind and loving heart. He would give you the shirt off his back. He was a family man, he always talked about his kids, grandkids, and sister. He was so proud of them and always said how blessed he was. I want his kids, grandkids, and sister to know that he loved them every single day of his life. I will truly miss his friendship and our talks. A wonderful man, gone too soon but never forgotten. He will always live in our hearts.
