Kathryn Marie Grasty was born February 12, 1929 in Madison County Iowa. She grew up in Patterson, Iowa.
She was married to Wallace Nelson Bodwell, of Winterset, Iowa on October 4, 1947. They moved to Colorado in 1960.
She is survived by her husband Wally; her children, Randy (Kathy), Patty, Ricky (Shannon) and Trudy; her grandchildren Amy (Chris) and Wendy; and her great grandchildren, Eli and Mackayla.
Katy loved nature. Her favorite song was “How Great Thou Art” because it perfectly expressed her feelings and beliefs.
