

Golden, Colorado. She was born in Denver, Colorado to Delmar and Patricia Cooper.
Kathy graduated from Jefferson High School in Edgewater, CO. She received her Associates degree from Red Rocks Community College. She worked as a grant writer, first for Red Rocks Community College and then Metropolitan State University, a job she held until retiring.
Kathy was a very talented watercolor artist. She loved her dogs and had several over the years, her lates was a rescue named Lola who brought great joy to her this past year. She loved cinnamon rolls, fudge, pizza, and always spaghetti. She loved to read the Bible and was very vocal about her Faith in God. She will be dearly missed.
A special thank you to the neighbors in her condo development; we appreciate all you have done to make it possible for her to stay in her own home, which she loved. A huge thank you to her nephew, Christian Folger, who made her so very happy as they shared every holiday and special occasion together; who provided support in every area he could.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Daniel; and sister, Diane. She is survived by her brother, Lanny Cooper; sister, Sher Cooper; and several nieces and nephews. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
