Kaye Francis Mastriona (also known as Mama/Katie/Nonie), surrounded by the love of those who knew her best, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 29th.

Katie, a force of nature, a gentle soul, and the heart of our family, passed away peacefully at the age of 88. Her laughter was infectious, her spirit was bright, and her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Elmer James Mastriona. She and Elmer loved to dance and shared many great memories doing so.

Mama was a woman of many talents. She wrote super funny and adventurous children's stories and songs. Children loved her and were attracted to her like a magnet. She filled our home with joy through her singing and organ playing. Her creativity touched the lives of many, and her legacy will live on through her works.

More than anything, Mama cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother – a constant source of support and encouragement. Her love was unconditional, her wisdom was boundless, and her presence was a gift to us all.

Katie's memory will forever be a blessing to those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Please join us to celebrate her life on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at 11:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church. We will have a celebration of life service with a reception to follow at 12:00.
