Kenneth Mack Iverson, age 88, of Monument, Colorado passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022 surrounded by his family, to be reunited with the love of his life, his wife of 61 years, Marvel Hope Iverson and his Heavenly Father.
Ken left many legacies throughout his life. One of them being as a social worker, bringing orphaned babies and children into loving homes. The second one was sharing his love for the gospel at Faith Baptist Church in Lakewood, Colorado - bringing many to Christ. The final legacy continues on through his surviving family; sister Sharon Gouwens, sons David and Vernon Iverson, grandchildren Gabriel Iverson, Brooke Hatfield, and Andrew Iverson, great grandchildren Walker and Mavrik Hatfield. He loved and adored his brother in-law, David Gouwens, Daughters In-law Kathy Iverson and Thu Iverson and Grandson In-law Andrew Hatfield.
Ken will always be a symbol of faith, love and joy to those who knew him. If he wasn't serenading a stranger to brighten their day, he was telling a joke to make them laugh.
Finally, as Ken would remind us; take the picture, share the story, and anticipate the reunion! See you there!
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 19th at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Golden. The service will be livestreamed at fbcgolden.org
