Kurt passed away peacefully in Texas on September 9, 2022 at the age of 71. An avid outdoorsman, Kurt enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting fossils and rockhounding, especially in his native Colorado. He worked for many years as a carpenter and enjoyed woodworking as a hobby as well. He was well known for his dry sense of humor and love of history and reading.
He will be dearly missed by his friends and family, and especially by his wife, Vickey, to whom he was married for 21 years. He is survived by his wife and four step-children, Vincent, Velvet, Matthew, and Mandy, as well as many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Kathy, Mark, and David.
His funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. October 8th, 2022 at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Ave in Wheat Ridge, CO 80333. His final resting place will be there also, near his parents and other close family. Condolences may be offered at www.crownhillfuneral.com
