Laura was born on June 6th, 1934 In Hampton Iowa. She was the daughter of Virgil E. Endriss & Dorothy M. Long. Laura married Clarence L. Cordes on November 28, 1959 in Lanchester, MO.
Laura was a very talented woman. She was an avid quilter. She made beautiful quilts for all her children and Grandchildren. She did painting and ceramics. She could crochet anything and made hats and scarves by the dozens. She almost always had a crochet hook in her hand.
She loved Christmas and always made it so special for the grandchildren. Somehow Santa would always appear at her house every Christmas Eve.
Laura is survived by daughter Marilyn Mitchell of Westminster, daughter JoAnn Houseman in Superior. daughter Peggy Slovensky of Littleton, son Howard and wife Arcelia Cordes of Denver, daughter Judy and husband Adron Robertson of Lakewood, and son Willie and wife Janet Cordes of Lakewood. She also had one surviving brother Larry Endriss from Hampton, Iowa, Brother in law Paul Hovinga of IA., Laura had 20 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
Laura was preceded in death by Husband Clarence Cordes (Corky), of CO., daughter Cindy L Hunter of CO., granddaughter Heather M. Hunter of CO., grandson Zach Hunter of Hampton IA., grandson Noah Hunter of CO., granddaughter Tara Garcia of HI., son in law Dan Houseman of Co., Parents Dorothy and Virgil Endriss of IA., sister Linda and Husband Bob Krines of IA., brother Virgil Endriss and Wife Shirley of CO., sister Donna and Husband Delmer Leedom of IA., sister Jeri Hovinga of IA.
