Laura Katherine Kay Erickson

Laura Erickson, of Westminster, Colorado, passed away on November 8, 2025, succumbing to Marfan Syndrome that she bravely fought her whole life. She was born on April 16, 1991, in Denver, Colorado, and grew up in Arvada, where she attended school and graduated from Pomona High School.

Laura’s greatest joy in life was her family. Though she held many jobs throughout her life, her favorite and most cherished role was that of wife and mother. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to creating a warm, loving home and to making every moment with her husband and children full of laughter, comfort, and love. Laura will be remembered for her passion for family and her love of bringing people together. She delighted in hosting parties and holidays, filling every gathering with laughter and warmth. She also enjoyed camping adventures with her loved ones, cheering at car races, and playing board games that always brought out her competitive and joyful side. Her beautiful smile and infectious laugh brightened every room she entered and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Joshua Erickson; her beloved children, Ayden and Menzi Erickson; her father, William Beins; her bonus mom, Jeannette Beins; her mother, Susan Elizabeth Wenzinger; and her siblings, Ashley Crosby, Johnna Clapp, Kari Yozviak, Mikaelle Dorsey, Bryanna Beins, and Benjamine Beins. She is also remembered fondly by her extended family, countless friends, and all those who were touched by her kind heart and radiant spirit.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 2100 Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, Colorado, 80214, on December 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Family and friends will gather to honor Laura’s memory, share stories, and celebrate the love she gave so freely. Following the service, a light lunch will be provided.
