Laveda Semple

Born on March 12, 1939, Laveda Sitzes was the youngest of six children, a bright student who was passionate about English, reading, and spelling classes. She graduated high school as Salutatorian of her class.

In 1960, Mom found her life partner, Jack Semple, and they were blessed with three children. As a mother, nothing brought her more joy than nurturing and loving her children. She often wished to freeze time, to keep them forever cherished as her babies.

Mom’s fight, strength and courage in life has been an inspiration to every treasured friend and others whose lives she touched.

Her love for God and our Lord Jesus Christ was at the heart of all she did. She lived her faith, reading and strictly adhering to the teachings of the Bible. Her unwavering belief was a shining example to those around her.

Services will be at 10:00am on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 at Crossroads Community Center 10451 Huron St, Northglenn, CO 80234, and there will be a reception to follow.

Mom’s life was a testament to strong faith and perpetual compassion - a beacon for all of us left behind. Her love, smile and hugs will be sorely missed.
