Let us first off thank you each for all of your prayers, kind words, and support during this grievous time. Larry was a husband, son, brother, father, nephew, grandfather, uncle, godfather, cousin, coach, and friend to us all. Although we lost a great man we are comforted in knowing that heaven has gained a warrior.
Please celebrate his life and his resurrection to our fathers kingdom with us. We will have a Catholic Rosary at St Anthony of Padua Church in Denver on Wednesday April 3rd at 700 pm proceeded by a viewing at 600pm. The funeral will be on Thursday morning at 1030 or 1100, time still to be determined. We will update on Tuesday morning. The funeral will be at St Anthony's as well followed by a procession to his final resting place at Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge. We will have a reception back at St Anthony's immediately following.
Others have asked about flowers and a memorial fund in his name. Flowers can be sent to the church or in lieu of flowers we'd like to suggest a donation in Larry's name to the TRU Community Care Hospice Center in Lafayette. They were so good to Larry and their mission helps quite a few people everyday. Please go to their website for details but make sure to reference Larry or Lawrence Torrez. www.trucare.org and look for the Donate Now button.
God bless you all and we look forward to sharing your company with us.
The Larry Torrez Family!
