Leanne Lau, of Valparaiso passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014. She was born May 7, 1940 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Anton & Letha (Gish) Jakub. Leanne graduated from the University of Denver and received a Master’s degree from Colorado State University. She had been a Teaching Leader and an Area Advisor for Bible Study Fellowship and a presenter for C.I. International. She was an active member at Liberty Bible Church in Valparaiso.
Leanne was preceded in death by her husband, Jerold W. Lau in 2011 and her precious son, Anthony Warren Lau in 1995. Survivors include their children, Tracey (Greg) Knapp of Valparaiso, Brad (Pam) Lau of Newberg, Oregon, brother, Marlyn Jakub of Dunedin, New Zealand and seven grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Southern Gables Church in Littleton, Colorado with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Memorial donations may be made to Southern Gable Church or Bible Study Fellowship Int’l, 19001 Huebner Rd., San Antonio, TX 78258.
