Lelia "Lee" C. Romero

77, a retired school teacher with the Denver Public Schools passed away peacefully on September 2, 2014 in Littleton, Colorado. Born June 5, 1937 in Lamar, Colorado to Juan and Eleanor Medina. She is survived by her loving family; her husband of 55 years, Daniel Romero, daughters; Dannette (Joe) Sena, and Jacqueline Romero, sons; Steven (Mary Ellen) Romero, and Miguel Romero, sisters; Mary (Frank) Ybarra, Helen Salaway, and Evelynn (Robert) Halfacre, brother Charlie Medina, 9 grandchildren; Miguel Romero, Lelia Perea, Jonathan Marquez, Levon Sena, Manuel Sena, Jacqueline Sena, Jesscia Romero, Marlena Romero, and Stephany Romero, also 4 great grandchildren; Abbrianna, Analicia, Aviah-Ray, and Leah. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Eleanor, her son Daniel John Romero, brothers; Tony, John, and Manuel Medina, a sister Louise Ernst.

Visitation Saturday, September 6, 2014, from 2pm to 7pm with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm in the Chapel of Peace at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, September 8, 2014, 1pm at St. Cajetan Catholic Church, 299 S. Raleigh, Denver, CO 80219.

She will be laid to rest at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Daniel Romero, 2954 S. Winona Ct., Denver, CO 80236.
