

She was born in Fort Collins, CO on September 6, 1929 to Amado and Isabel Padilla.
Preceded in death by her grandson, Zack Wilcox.
Lena is survived by 6 children; Pat Valdez, Juanita Benavides, Steve Robles, Phil Robles, Stan Pavkovich and Jimmy Waldner.
She had 7 grandchildren, Jeff Manzanares, Ryan Manzanares, Eric Benavides, Nathan Benavides, Joe Pavkovich, Matt Pavkovich and David Pavkovich. 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. 3 surviving siblings; Auggie Padilla, Dave Padilla and Mary Frances Padilla, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Lena loved to cook. She was known for her delicious homemade tortillas, green chile and beans. She enjoyed her trips to Blackhawk and Las Vegas; she won many jackpots over the years. She was an avid Solitaire player; she always said it kept her mind sharp.
Lena was a loving mother and grandmother. She was funny without trying to be and there are countless stories told by her family, especially her grandkids that will never be forgotten.
She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
