grew up in Brighton/Commerce City and made his home in Thornton, Colorado.
LeRoy worked as an over the road trucker driver for Gambles, Yellow Freight and FedEx. He dedicated his time to driving until he was 85 years old. He was active in the Lutheran Church as an Elder and Sunday school teacher for many years. His hobbies were gardening, coin and stamp collecting and gambling. He loved fishing and family vacations in Grand Lake, Colorado, first with his children, then with his grand children, and then with his great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Dorothy Ziebarth, and his siblings; Joyce Mermis (Frank), Jack Ziebarth (Lucy), Jean Perkins (Charles), Harvey Ziebarth (Diane), and James Patrick Ziebarth (Marie).
He is survived by his children, Ricky Lee Ziebarth (Jill) and Pamela Kay Curtis; his grandchildren, Tad Ziebarth (Beth), Rana Berglund (Greg), Cory Ziebarth, Jayme Ziebarth (Brandon Riester) and Ben Bryant; and his great granddaughter, Raegan Ziebarth. He leaves behind his siblings; Kenneth Ziebarth, Richard Ziebarth (Virginia deceased), Ronald Ziebarth (Barbara deceased) and Danny Ziebarth (Willie).
