My mother's eyes were peaceful, so kind  so loving and true..i miss my mother deeply,  my thoughts were never blue,when life became hard to handle, she'd wrap me in her arms,,whisper in her soft sweet voice, that no one would bring me harm..kindness love compassion, was what you gave everyday..but I ve been lost ever since you went away..I finally found reason, to try and live my art..is all I have now in my world, you see no has your heart..you are my only thoughts now and can see your sweet sweet smile..I love you forever mama,, I'll walk this lonely mile...to the most special, beautiful caring person , no one compares to her..my mother..who sits on the highest of clouds and heaven and is smiling with her

Cindy and I met in the 4th grade and were instantly joined at the hip -- Lillian is just my best memory from those days.  She was more like my mother than anyone else...I would think I had died and went to heaven if I was invited to Sunday supper that Lillian cooked, the best ever chicken and mashed taters and chicken gravy and DANDELION GREENS!  And I can still hear Lil's laugh and I have memory after memory of my childhood years, with Lillian always there in them.  I am honored to say I was there on her last day on this earth.  Rest in peace Lillian, love you.

It's been 6 years since you went away...and seems I am the only one..your youngest,  who honors you...that day you lifted up , the day The Lord decided you, my sweet  mother, my angel,  my heart, that it was time to ease your pain, and have you join him to dance on the highest cloud...rest......my life since the day you passed will never and has never been the same...I lost the most precious thing and have wept an ocean of tears ,my heart still breaks..you  are my beautiful memories every day mama

This memory is typed late...but I just stumbled across this page.  I am Lillian's grandson, Kendrick (Kenny) Jahn.  She recently had a birthday and she would've been 101 years old.  My Grandma was quite the lady.  She taught me the best bumper pool around, and darts.  She took me bowling and beat me every time, and criticized my crying about losing.  Hahaha.  I loved my Grandma so much.  She was one of a kind, and she took care of me.  She always showed me the importance of a bed time story.  She was so much fun to be around as a child and I have personal memories with her that no one else will ever know about.  She took me to the candy store, hikes in Golden, and local fishing trips.  She also made the best salad in the world.   I love you Grandma, and I always will. 

My mother was everyone's friend she loved her children to the end and made us promise we would be good to each other after she was gone...many promises were broken and  what a painful heart felt memory that was..she always laughed  and felt the good in everyone...wanted to be remembered as a kind loving gentle person who always felt the sun on her face and the Good Lord in her heart..I have never felt such a loss as I did when she left this world...but I'm positive she making everyone smile in heaven...I love you forever mama and pray that all my family reads this and loved you as much as I do...you were one in infinity and no other mother could ever live up to your love....you were the cement the power that held our family close...dont even know my family anymore. Miss you everyday....every moment. Of every hour.. I miss my mom..you gave me a lifetime of love and sweet memories.. my angel

The most incredible woman, my Aunt Lillian.  You had a twinkle in your eye and a twinkle in your outlook in life.  A true spirit all your own, like my mom always said.  My other mother, my hero.  I miss you, I miss your laugh and sense of humor.  Always in my heart.  XOXO
