Linda Jean Braden

Linda "Gma" Braden was born to the late Dan and Betty Moore, Denver, CO on July 22, 1947. She is survived by her Sister Terri, her sister Debbie preceded her in death. She was immersed in the Christian Fellowship that would be her lifelong support from an early age. She graduated from Lakewood High School and then went on to work for Jefferson County Public Schools Transportation. The moment her first Grandchild was born she gave notice that she was leaving to become a licensed in home day care provider thus assuring her grandchildren would always be cared in the loving hands that only a Grandma could provide.

Linda was blessed with a large and loving family. She married Michael Braden on December 10, 1965 and they remained married until Michael's death in 2018. Linda is survived by her twin children Dennis and Denise, her daughter Lisa preceded her in death. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren. Betty-Jean preceded in death, Teresa, Lindsay, Krista, Katie, Yasmin, Emily and Madeline. she then became even more blessed with 16 Great-grandchildren. Haylee, Ashlyn, Jose Jr, Antonio, Anthony, Katherine, Emily, Brooklynne, Nikko, Madalynne, Hayden, Joanna, Samantha, Xander, Ezekiel, and Thomas. Linda also had many others she considered family for instance the Frieze family.

A random thing occurred to a couple family members when we came or left the hospital at the time of her passing. At least three of us discovered randomly placed painted rocks. These rocks and the concept of them gave us great comfort. We would like to incorporate that as part of honoring my mom. So anyone coming to the services please take the time between now and then to paint a rock we will have a collection bucket for them at the services. On the backside of the rock please put 5280 "Rocks"/FB and my mother's name Linda Braden. After the services we plan on distributing these rocks randomly around the community as a beautiful act of kindness and honor.
