Linda June Ellenburg

Linda was born in Wayne County, Missouri, to Fred G. Stephens and Emma L. Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother, Wayde Levoy Stephens, who passed away at birth.

As a young woman, Linda moved to the St. Louis, Missouri, area, where she initially stayed with family before making St. Louis her permanent home. She built a successful career with Mallinckrodt Chemical, where she worked faithfully until her retirement in 2000.

Linda's life's work extended far beyond her career. She had an unwavering commitment to the well-being of children and opened her heart and home to hundreds of foster children throughout the years in both Missouri and Colorado. Her compassion, patience, and generosity provided love, stability, and hope to countless young lives.

In 2003, Linda relocated to Colorado, where she continued her lifelong calling to care for others. For the last 15 years of her life, she devoted herself to serving as a caregiver for adults with disabilities, providing comfort, dignity, and unwavering support until her own passing.

A faithful Christian, Linda's faith was the foundation of her life. She found great joy in playing the piano and singing hymns, sharing her love of music and worship with those around her throughout her life.

Linda is survived by her beloved children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members, friends, and the countless lives she touched through her compassion and generosity.

Linda will be remembered for her selfless heart, quiet strength, unwavering faith, and extraordinary dedication to helping those in need. Her legacy lives on in the many children and adults whose lives were forever changed by her kindness, compassion, and unconditional love.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cem, 7777 West 29th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033, US, on July 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
