Linda M. Ruth

September 15, 1947 – March 6, 2025

Linda M. Ruth, 77, of Broomfield, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025. Born in Miami, Florida, Linda spent much of her younger life enjoying the warm beaches with her parents and three brothers. Linda was married in 1967 and had 3 children (Jeffrey, Mark and Krista). The family eventually moved to the Iowa/Illinois area before finally settling in Colorado in 1982. Linda had a successful working career as a legal secretary supporting many large law firms in the Denver metro area. Although finding her new home in a landlocked state, Linda continued a deep love for the ocean and often spoke about returning someday. She also had a great appreciation of rock music which she passed along to all her children and grandchildren. Throughout her life she enjoyed the companionship of her dogs and even at one point several horses.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Jeffrey (Deborah), Mark (Amie), and Krista (Shane); her grandchildren, Kelsey(Scott), Alex, Brennan(Rebecca), Madeline, Matthew, and Adrian; and her great-grandchildren, Preslee, Peyton, and Mason. Linda’s warmth, strength, love, and faith in God will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Her funeral service, officiated by Father Trevor Lontine , will be held 10:00 a.m. starting with a family gathering and mass starting at 11am on Monday March 24th, 2025 at Spirit of Christ Catholic Church in Arvada Colorado. There will be a luncheon immediately following mass in the Spirit Center of the church. Linda will be laid to rest at Mt Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Co at 230pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to an animal rescue organization in her memory.
