She then entered the Regis College Science Program, and became a Hospital Laboratory Technician. She served St. Anthony, Swedish, Sky Ridge, and St. Joseph. and the University of Colorado Hospitals.
Over the years, she travelled to several sights in the world: Virgin Islands, Mexico, Hawaii, Florida, California, and New York State.
She was a member of Phillips United Methodist Church since the age of 5.
Lisa was a great lover of animals, and people. She had a Tee Shirt the read, "My Favorite People are Dogs!
She made many friends in the church and in the neighborhood where she lived.
In these later years, she lived with her parents at Carmel Oaks Retirement Home, and enjoyed all the activities and people. Due to health concerns, she became ill, and passed away on June 18, 2026 at her home. She will be missed by all who loved her.
