Louella F. Lamping 98, passed away gently January 11, 2020. She was born August 10, 1921 to Fritz and Fanny Pakiser in Globeville, Colorado. Louella went to High School in Evergreen, Colorado where her family moved once she became of high school age. She married Robert Lamping November 6, 1942 and together they had three children Robert Louis, Edward Lee, and Ann Marie.
Louella enjoyed being a troop leader in the Brownies and Girl Scouts and was a Worthy Matron in Eastern Star. She worked for Montgomery Ward for more than 20 years. She and Robert loved to travel and spent vacations in Egypt, where she rode a camel and climbed the pyramids, Israel, Denmark, Mexico, and Hawaii. When at home she loved to sew, can fresh fruit and vegetables, and spend time with her family.
Louella is survived by her daughter Ann Marie Lamping, 4 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fritz and Fanny, her husband Robert, her brothers Robert and Edward, and her granddaughter Dawna.
Louella will be missed every day by her remaining family and friends, but they are at peace knowing that she has joined her family that has passed on previously.
