Lou was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Ray says that "she was born to be a mother" and praised her highly for her dedication to her family. She epitomized the word "kindness" and, along with Ray, gave unselfishly to others all of her life. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

Dear Bessick family,
I am sad to hear about Louise. I knew Louise and Ray for a short time when we became neighbors here in Colorado, but I felt like I knew them forever. She was wonderful woman with a very kind heart. I am so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely, Sandra Dente

Dear Bessick Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. We have fond memories of the many events when our families spent time together oh so many years ago. Lou was always such a sweet calming influence in the midst of the natural excitement generated by two large families getting together for a celebration. Please give Ray a hug and tell him we are thinking of him.
