Lyle K. Marti

Lyle was born in Browntown, Wisconsin to Merlin C. Marti and Almeda Rose (Morris) Marti on April 13th, 1937. Graduated from Ithaca High School in Richland Center Wisconsin in 1956. He joined the United States Air Force in the fall of that year. He was Honorable discharged in 1968 after a 12-year career that included assignments overseas including in Vietnam. He worked in Sales prior to becoming a Hard Rock Miner in 1970. In 1976 he became a Federal Mine Inspector and retired from the Federal Government in 2000.

Survived by brothers Gary in Taylor Ridge, Il, William in Fl. and sister Janet in Wi. His wife, Xui Qun Li in Golden, Co. Mother of his children, Ellen Marti in Richland Center, Wi. Son, Lyle K. Marti, Jr. (Butch) in Arvada, Co. Deceased daughter, Lori Johnson in Black Earth, Wi. Daughters, Jaci Thorson, Menomonie, Wi, Teri Marti in Columbus, Oh. Grandchildren, Dustin Marti in Grand Junction, Co., Felicia Marti in Thornton, Co. Amber Marti in Orlando, Fl., Antonio Quintana in Brighton, Co., Mikeal McDaniel in Falcon, Co., Benjamin Danz, Denver, Co. Great Grandchildren are Wyatt, Dalton, Leevi Marti in Grand Junction, Co., Liliana and Antonio Quintana Jr in Brighton, Co., Kaylee McDaniel in Falcon, Co.

He was preceded in passing by brother Allen Marti.
