She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Earl (Bud) Coontz, mother Mildred Bearfoot, father Newton Bearfoot, sister, Agnes Moody, brothers Newton (Bud) and Robert Bearfoot.
She is survived by sons Robert E. Coontz (Helene) and Mark A. Coontz (Ethel). She is also survived by grandchildren, Christy George (Mike) and Daniel Coontz (Christina), great-grandchildren, Matthew, Logan, Arizona, Lucas, Kansas and Valynne. She also had many nieces and nephews that she also loved dearly.
She and Bud spent most of their adult lives in Denver raising their sons. She loved being around people and had many friends. She also had a great love of animals, especially dogs and birds.
Mabel will be missed greatly by her family and friends, especially her smile and wonderful laugh.
