Marie C. Walden

Marie was born Oct. 7, 1928 in Denver to Nick and Sarah Gioia, one of six children. On April 22, 1947 Marie married Paul Walden. Her husband, mother, father, and three brothers (Jim, Paul, and Fred) preceded her in death. Marie had seven children: Susan, Paula, Mary, John, Carla, David and Lisa. Mary died shortly after birth. Marie was grandmother to Steven Miller, Paul Quillen, Tina Miller, Mike Quillen, Jesse Walden, Ryan Walden, Alanna Dore, Colton Comito, Samuel Dore, and Nick Comito and great- grandmother to Courtney Miller, Justin Miller, Isabella Walden, Zoie Walden, Daniel Lee, and Nia Mark. Marie was a wonderful wife, homemaker and avid Bronco fan.

Marie is survived by her 6 children, 10 grandchildren and 6 great- grandchildren, her sister Margaret, brother Ed, sons-in-law Mike Comito and Dean Wieseler, daughter-in-law Jeanne Walden and several nieces and nephews.

A private service is being held. Family and friends please join us in a celebration of Marie's life at the family home Friday, April 22nd from 2 to 6 pm.
