Martha Mae Birnbaum

Martha Mae Birnbaum passed away, at the age of 96, on Sunday, March 22, 2020 in Hospice care after having had a stroke on March 14. Born in Versailles, MO to Joseph and Elzina Huffman. Although her given name was Martha she liked to be called Martie. She moved to Denver when she was 15 and graduated from South High School. She was married to George Birnbaum on September 4, 1948. George preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter, Cheri Mattocks. Martie will be sorely missed. A private graveside service was held at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery on March 30, 2020.
