Marvin Dean Crisler worked on the Rio Grande Railroad for 42 years as a switchman. He was a good husband, father, grandpa, and great grandpa. He had a very strong faith in Jesus Christ our savior. He was a member of the Lutheran Church, VFW, was in the United States Navy, Naval Reserve and a Union Member of the United Transportation Union. He loved sports, football, fishing, traveling to Uma, Arizona, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Yellowstone, Oregon, and San Diego. Dad was kind hearted, he made people smile and will be deeply missed by all.
He is survived by his daughters Deanna (Jack) Kennedy, Roseann (Larry) Lehr, a son Michael (Karen) Crisler. His sisters, Charlene Thompson and Linda Sass, a brother Ernie Rhodus, grandkids; Amy Rohr, Melinda Phillips, Nicole Adams, Michelle Stahl, Jonathan Trimmer, Melanie Brown, Shaun Crisler and 13 Great Grandkids; Nicholas, Emily, Madelynne, Mena, Julian, Bryson, Dustin, Kyla, Mackenzie, Breannah, Remmington, Victoria, and Hunter.
