Mary Elva Hautum, 93, dies leaving behind 9 grandchildren and 65 grandchildren
This special lady raised 9 children and loved and cared for 65 grandchildren. She was born in 1920 in Manitou Springs, CO and moved to Denver with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Fred Hautum, sister Helen Dennison, brother Spencer Combs and 2 grandsons David Mark Woods and Zach Kimbrel. She taught Sunday school for 70 years. The past few years she enjoyed several trips with her children traveling all over the world. The love of her life was her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, she also loved the fellowship she had with her family and friends. She will truly be missed by all. Survived by 9 children: Earla Mae Dunning, Laura Roberts, Candy Gavit, Woody Woods, Dave Woods, Ruth Traupe, Becky Travenner, Tim Hautum and Rose Hautum. Viewing Fri 8/23, 5-8pm at Olinger Crown Hill (29th & Wadsworth) and service Sat, 2pm at Lakewood Church of the Nazarene (1755 Dover St.) with interment to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.
