Mary Ruth Kelley

Mary Ruth Kelley was born January 25th, 1926 in Edina, Missouri. Her family moved to Longmont, Colorado around 1936. She graduated from Longmont High School in 1944. She worked to help support her family as a waitress and during WWII she worked in a factory sewing uniforms and stuffing parachute bags. She worked for Retail Workers Local 7 (Safeway stores) for 25 years.

She married the love of her life, Billy W. Kelley. They had 3 children, the "Kool Kelley Kids": Karen Kay, Katherine Karol, and Kenneth Keith Kelley.

Mary loved her "Broncos and Rockies"! She loved to share her team passion with her craft work. She was a big "crafter" and spent many winter months with her brother, J. L. And his family in Arkansas, doing crafts. Cards and games were also big anytime family members gathered -Or- Lets's go play BINGO!!!

She is preceded in death by her husband Bill, daughter Kathy, 2 sisters Dorothy and Jo Ann and 1 brother Earl. She is survived by her daughter Karen (Ray), son Kenneth. Three grand children Dean, Aryn and Ryan and three great grandchildren Tia, Jillian, and Jake and 1 brother J.L. And many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all.

Graveside service will be held at 10:15am, Friday, September 20, 2013 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.
