Mary Frances Mitchell

Mary Frances Dilley was born in Denver, Colorado on April 7, 1940, to Theodore and Ethyl Dilley. She was one of 11 children; Betty, Theodore Junior, June, Leroy, Billy Jean, Albert, Samuel, Mary, Garry, Marva and Charlotta. She was a lifelong resident of the Denver Metro area.

She married Kenneth Stanley Heberling on July 23, 1955. From that union, they were blessed with four children, Karren Lea [Otto] Albright, Glenda Kay [Jeffrey] Jones, Michael Wayne [Tracey] Heberling and Mark Andrew Heberling.

She married Bill Mitchell on January 14, 1991. Mary has two stepsons, Meryl and Bobby. Together Bill and Mary have 10 Grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Karren, and siblings Betty, Theodore Jr., June, Leroy, Billy Jean, Garry, and Marva.

Mary was an accomplished cosmetologist. Even after retirement, she continued to provide services for family and friends just for the joy of performing her handiwork. She enjoyed crochet and other needlework, collecting music boxes and snowmen figurines. She loved her family, whether in person, or through a good long phone call.

Mary found joy in accompanying Bill at aviation fly-ins, and she came to know and love many close friends at these gatherings. An afternoon drive in the mountains in the roadster was frequent entertainment.
