t was an honor to work for Maxine and her husband Woody. They were very kind to me and treated me with the utmost respect. Over the years I got to know them. They told me stories of how they met, raising their boys, adventures in travel. There was true love and a tenderness between them; in the way Woody would tell Maxine he loved her when leaving for a short trip to the post office; to Maxine preparing meals for Woody. It was an honor to be a witness to love as a verb. It will always remain an honor to have known them both. I am certain they are together again. Peace be to you Maxine and Woody. Although Joe and I hadn't know Maxine very well, our time spent with her was wonderful.  She raised a wonderful family and was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother & great-grandmother.
