Michelle Broyles-Garcia

Michelle was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She had 2 sons, Grant Tamplain, and Gary Broyles, and too were born and raised in New Orleans, LA.

In the early 2000’s she moved to Colorado where she spent the rest of her life. On her journey, she met Albert Garcia, and with some time they got married on October 11, 2012.

She was a long time employee at King Soopers, working in home shop, then in produce department.

Michelle was an avid Saints fan who loved Cajun cuisines, along with pralines that she would make year round. She enjoyed many things such as traveling and going on cruises with her husband and friends, animals especially all the dogs she had, and nature. Her absolute favorite hobby was spoiling her granddaughter Zinnia.

Michelle was proceeded in death by her parents Sandy Hicks née Spady and Alvis Hicks.

Michelle was survived by her husband Albert Garcia, sons Grant Tamplain and Gary Broyles; step daughter Lana Rae (Joseph) Montoya; granddaughter Zinnia; step grandchildren Jakobe and Jeslyn; brother Nick (Renee) Sanguinette and niece Autumn Sanguinette.

A memorial service for Michelle will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Belmar Church, 460 S Kipling St, Lakewood, CO 80226 with a reception to follow.
