

Myrna Eileen Wicke Hesterman was born to Floyd Wicke and Lucile Kasten Wicke on March 3, 1938 in Ludell, Kansas. She was baptized March 13, 1938 and confirmed March 18, 1951 both at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ludell.
Myrna grew up on the family farm forth of Ludell with Gloria her sister and James her brother. After graduating high school, she was employed with Mountain Bell in Denver. She married Milton Hesterman on January 12, 1557 at Trinity In Ludell. Myrna and Milton spent their entire married lives in the Denver area and belonged to Redeemer Lutheran Church. They were blessed with four children; Janelle, Kimberly, Bradley and Corey. They brought their children to the Lord in baptism and with a Christian education. She was employed part time after the children were grown for a few years.
She was preceded in death by her father in 2006, her husband in 1999 and her mother in 2012.
Myrna was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2010.
Myrna is survived by daughter Jan and husband Bruce Osborne, Kim and husband Greg Neitzke, son Brad Hesterman and wife Darlene, and Corey Hesterman and wife Rachel. Also nine grandchildren, Hannah and Leah Osborne; Heidi, Jared and Joel Neitzke; Naomi, Christina, Brittany, and Brandy Hesterman. Remaining also, her sister Gloria Ackerman in Beloit, KS and Brother James Wicke in Loveland, CO.
She was a faithful member of redeemer and member of the LWML, holding various offices. She was also a longtime member of the Rebekah circle. She lovingly served her Lord by caring for her family, helping neighbors and friends and being involved in various church activities.
On March 8, 2016 the Lord called Myrna home to Himself in heaven. Her remains will be at Crown Hill Cemetery with husband Milton.
