Nancy E. Warinner passed on to be with her Lord on October 14, 2012 after a courageous fight against cancer. Nancy was born on the farm in Cass County, Minnesota, on December 26, 1935 to Martin and Elva Melin of Pequot Lakes; they both preceded her in death. In 1953, six days after graduating, she married the love of her life, William J. Warinner. The union produced five blessed children, Royal Martin Warinner-deceased in 2006 (Diane) with grandchildren Joshua (Teaa) Warinner, Amanda (Ben) Garcia, and Ryan (Amy) Warinner; Ramona Lynn Keller (Dave) with grandchildren Angela, Tammy and Melinda Keller, Cheryl Kay Robinson (Stan) and grandchildren Issac Sorensen, Sarah (Doug) Worton, and Jesse (Danni) Robinson, Launa Rae Warinner-Meyers (Denny) and grandchildren Bridgett (Dale) McDermott and Denny Jr. Meyers, and Lynda Joy Offutt (Austin) and grandchildren Dillan and Sage Offutt. Nancy enjoyed her 13 wonderful great-grandchildren, Jilleeann, Terrann and Sailor Warinner, Brooke and Heather Garcia, Ashlyn Warinner, Hannah and Chloee Keller, Hailey and Anthony Worton, Dalilah McDermott, Alaire and Kyler Meyers. She was preceded in death by her husband, William J. Warinner in 1978 after 25 years of marriage and her fiancée of 13 years, Stan Boll. She is survived by her siblings, Joy (Carl-deceased) Lotze and her sons Lewis John and Martin and Michael (Nancy) Melin and their children Christopher and Carly. Nancy adored her mother-in-law, Lorraine Warinner-Cunningham who was welcomed into heaven by her son Bill and his son Royal who passed 4 days earlier than Lorraine; and Nancy wants to give mention to all her 8 loving Christian Warinner family members and their enormous families she married into. Lucky and Dorothy Luckinbill of Bailey have been her closest friends for 40 years and she is grateful for their friendship. Nancy always considered herself a dedicated Christian and a strong survivor. First love was her family followed by flying, the Broncos, the Rockies, the Olympics, the weather channel, the news and her purse. Nancy‘s greatest enjoyment was watching her children and grandchildren’s sports, church and school activities; anyone who knew Nancy knew about her ability to be the one that was loudest at all the sporting events. Many people knew Nancy in Bailey and Conifer through her many various jobs and volunteering in the 40 years she lived in the community. A special thanks goes out to Swedish Medical Center Cancer Unit, Terry Ritter of Mt. Evans Hospice, and Dr. Christina Pinsinski of Conifer Medical Center for outstanding care. Nancy (who truly loved her name, the meaning of “grace”) would like to share her favorite Bible verse Isaiah 40:31; “They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles”. Nancy was buried with her husband, Bill, at Fort Logan Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. In lieu of flowers, Nancy would like donations to go to the Royal Martin Warinner Memorial fund, New Castle Recreation Department, PO Box 90, New Castle, CO 81647 or Mount Evans Home Health & Hospice, 3081 Bergen Peak Drive, Evergreen, CO 80439. The memorial service will be on Friday, October 19, at 9 AM at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
