Born May 30, 1930 in Wauneta, Nebraska, he was the son of the late Nobel and Blanche (Hardin) Trowbridge.
Neil loved the outdoors, which included some of his favorite past-times, fishing and hunting. He loved and enjoyed spending a great deal of time with his family and especially loved his grandchildren. He greatly enjoyed music, especially gospel music and always loved to sing when given the opportunity. Neil was in the United States Air Force for three years, followed by working in Civil Service at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver for many years.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Trowbridge and brother-in-law, Jerry Wine.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Edith (Reinhard) Trowbridge; children, Douglas, Steven (Donna), Ronald (Shelli) Shanna (Garry) Schepemaker and David (Cindi); 22 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and his sister, Arlene Wine.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014 from 5 to 7pm at Olinger Crown Hill.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Neil will be held Thursday, May 8, 2014, 10am at Galilee Baptist Church, 1091 S. Parker Rd., Denver, CO 80231.
