She grew up with her younger sister, Bobbie Dean on a farm near Story. She met and married Marion (Cotton) Conrad in Hot Springs, Arkansas in 1950. They moved to Colorado later that year and joined Fruitdale Baptist Church in Wheat Ridge, where they actively participated for the next 65 years. In the following years, they had 2 children, Lanny and Karen. Norma enjoyed teaching Sunday school, leading a Pioneer Girls group and serving as church treasurer for many years. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and doing various crafts for friends and family. Since her teen years in Arkansas, Norma had been an avid Boston Red Sox fan. She loved to watch baseball and football, and of course was a huge fan of the Denver Broncos. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Winslow (Steve) ; her daughter in law, Colleen Conrad; her grandsons, Jason Conrad, Matthew Winslow (Sijie), Marshall Winslow (Stephanie), Mark Winslow(Sierra), Kyle Larson(Lisa), Kirk Larson(Jamie); granddaughters, Heather Pulley (Mike), Halley Smith; as well as 14 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at Clear Creek Church in Wheat Ridge at 1:00pm.
