Oscar Sam Rodriquez

A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Northern Colorado Crematory, 700 8th St, Greeley, CO 80631. Rosary will be held at 5:00 PM following the Viewing. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 10:00 am at Northern Colorado Crematory.

Sam was born in Big Springs Texas on October 4, 1957 to the late Casimiro Rodriquez and Rosa Guerrera. In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Sam’s first job was working picking crops in Colorado at the young age of 13. When he was younger, he drove rental cars up to Ski Resorts. The final 30+ years of his life he worked for Walmart Distribution Center in Loveland Colorado where he also started his family.

In his free time, Sam loved to spend time fishing and watching any sport that was on TV, his favorite being the Dallas Cowboys. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved children Rebecca Rodriquez (Sarah Graham), Ashley Rodriquez (Annaistaja Potter), Trevor Rodriquez, and his dog Opie. His grandchildren Alayzia Gutierrez, Jazmyn Gutierrez, Sophie Aragon, Bella Aragon, Deviniti Carrillo and Anthony Carrillo. Sam is survived by five sisters, Juanita, Maria, Carmen, Yolanda and Anita. Along with many other cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sam was beloved by many, and his love and kindness will continue to live on through all that knew him.
