Paul Raymond Goddard passed away on October 25, 2026, in Broomfield, Colorado at the age of 75 years old. He was born on April 15, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, to Alfred Allen Goddard Jr. and Dorothy Cecilia Sevren.
Paul was the oldest of four children growing up in Lakewood, Colorado. As a youth, he raced go-karts and was on the wrestling and football teams in junior high. In high school, he played the guitar in a rock band and met his wife-to-be, Beverly Marlene Bickston, at the age of 16. They married right after high school on November 28, 1970, in Lakewood, Colorado.
He attended Red Rocks Community College and the University of Colorado at Denver. He joined the Air Force and was stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1971. He completed his four years of service in Atwater, California, and was honorably discharged. He moved back to Colorado in 1975, living in Littleton and Conifer until moving to Broomfield in December of 2023.
He worked for COBE Laboratories, now Terumo BCT, for over 44 years. His career there included working as a maintenance technician in the hollow fiber dialyzer department, cardiovascular molding department, tubing extrusion in Mexico, equipment production, and cassette molding.
Paul loved music, fishing, camping, boating, and astronomy. He loved the “dark sky” at Lake Powell and in Conifer, spending many nights taking pictures of the stars. He could build and fix almost anything and spent many hours tinkering in his garage.
He was a quiet, kind man who loved his family very much. He was a devoted husband to Beverly for 56 years of marriage. The two of them were rarely seen apart from each other, true examples of soulmates. He raised his 3 children with an abundance of love, showing them the importance of family and what it means to love and be loved. Paul was extremely bright and could answer almost any question sent his way. His friends and family knew that he was the one to ask, and if he didn’t know the answer, he would find it. 3 words to describe Paul: Dedication, Kindness, Love.
He is survived by his Wife, Beverly Goddard, from Broomfield, Colorado; children, Michelle Goddard, Lakewood, Colorado; Jennifer Massa (Ryan), Arvada, Colorado; Aaron Goddard (Ashley), Parker, Colorado; grandchildren, Cole Massa, Carter Massa, Chase Massa, and Caylin Massa, Arvada, Colorado; siblings, Marie Goddard, Shawnee Mission, Kansas, Thomas Goddard, Dolores, Colorado, and Lee Goddard, Alamogordo, New Mexico.
