Paul F. Greene was born in Salina, Kansas, to Patrick and Zita Greene. The family moved to Colorado Springs while Paul was at a young age. He later graduated from Saint Mary’s High School in 1962. Shortly after, Paul moved to Denver where he went to work in the printing industry, and remained there until his retirement in 2005. Paul was a member of the labor union G.C.I.U for 50 years, and served over 30 years as secretary treasurer then president of the union. Paul was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a constant fixture at athletic events supporting his grandchildren, and nephews. Paul loved his Colorado sports teams, especially the
Avalanche. He also loved any opportunity to gamble or play poker. He was never one to pass up a trip to Las Vegas,
where he’d only hit it big at the ATM. Paul’s family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Bonfils Blood Center, or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
